HI-MOUND HK-708 – DELUXE MORSE KEY NO SHROUD
Hi-Mound HK-708 Low-Profile Straight Keys with No Cover – The HK-706, HK-707, and HK-708 are identical economy straight keys with either a clear cover, a black cover or no cover installed, respectively. The clear or black covers are removable to adjust contact spacing and spring tension. These low-profile keys have a button type key knob that supports the American style of sending, with the operators arm on the table and the fingers on the key knob close to the table.
Instead of rubber feet, Hi-Mound keys utilize a clever rubber stripping around the bottom circumference of the base to keep them from moving on the table. Push it with your finger – it won’t move. A screw hole near the front allows the key to be permanently affixed to a table, if desired.
Hi-Mound HK-705 Economy Straight Keys with No Base – This straight key has a shorter arm and is the smallest Hi-Mound, at only 2.375 in. wide and 5 in. wide. This is an economy-priced beginner or learner’s key that can be used for any Amateur Radio application including portable or mobile use. This low-profile straight key has four holes for mounting to a base or strap of your own making.
